A battery connector, majorly has three main points... While in some phones, they're four. Here, we will be talking about the ones with the three points.

Without beating around the bush, these major points are usually the positive (+ve or Vbat) the middle pin or BSI (bat on) and the ground which is found anywhere around the PCB.

In a case where you find yourself in a situation where the battery connector points on the board has peeled off, you don't need to panic.

How to fix damaged battery connector track

First thing you need to do is to have the battery wired, that is, the battery should be a wired one, you can work this from the existing battery or get a wired one from the market, like the Huawei three wired batteries.

Second step is to check if the battery fits well into the phone when closed and assembled, if it fits well, you are good to proceed to the next steps.

Third step is to locate the points Vbat, Bat on, and Gnd on the board. In some older phones models, they do not write their “bat on” position, you just have to use a microscope or take a closer look at the board and trace the line throughwhich the middle point passes through, you can find the IC and mark it, or you scrap out the line nearest to the peeled out point.

Fourth step is to connect the positive (+ve) or red wire of the battery to the Vbat terminal. Make sure you attach this with enough paste and solder. Solder the BSI wire(middle wire) onto the bat on point or its IC component. If you're to solder it on an IC, make sure to use a jumper wire. And connect the Black Wire(ground or gnd) to the gnd point, or any gold point on the panel that does not have a line of origin.

Fifth step is to try to ratify and make the work neat, cover wherever needs to be covered to avoid shorts.

Final step is try turning on the phone, if it comes on, congratulations, you've just bypassed the battery connector of a phone, try charging it too to confirm if the bat on is well connected. If it doesn't turn on, try taking a closer look at your connections, and re-check if the battery is charged, it should read atleast 3.6V for it to work properly.
